Entrepreneurs Impact Summit (EIS) brings together leading entrepreneurs, thought leaders and investors focused on social impact and those who want to do more for an event in Los Angeles. EIS is focused on catalyzing and communicating specific commitments from attendees to use their time and talents to help solve global problems. The Summit has several key components, including inspiring and surprising speeches from entrepreneurs about innovative approaches to social impact; education for entrepreneurs about using their time and talents to address these pressing problems; and awards showcasing leadership.
In order to participate in the Entrepreneurs Impact Summit (EIS), every attendee must make a Commitment to Social Impact. EIS Commitments must be:
An EIS Commitment must present a new idea or approach to address a specific issue (climate change, gender equality, affordable housing, water, etc.). Ongoing work is not eligible, but expansion of a successful program may be.
An EIS commitment must outline a specific approach to address the area of human need; have clear, feasible objectives to be accomplished within a defined period of time; and articulate the desired outcome of the effort.
An EIS Commitment must have specific quantitative or qualitative goals that can be monitored to evaluate progress over time. Annual progress is reported to EIS to show the extent of its impact.
